Transformation Initiataive: Rental Assistance Demonstration Small Research Grant Program

To support research projects that will produce policy-relevant new knowledge about the implementation and consequences o HUD s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), which allows proven financing tools to be applied to at-risk public and assisted housing.

Uses and Use Restrictions

Funds awarded under this NOFA must be used to support direct and indirect costs incurred in the timely completion of the research product.

1.Funds awarded under this NOFA may not be used to pay for activities outside the scope of this NOFA.

Funding will only be provided to researchers who meet the standards for eligible applicants outlined in Section III (A).

Funds awarded under this NOFA may not be used to pay for computer hardware and/or meals.

Honorariums cannot be charged against awards under this program.
5.

Fee or profit will not be paid for work done under this NOFA.

6.

Dissertation support is not eligible under this program.

Applicants must comply with the Delinquent Federal Debt Requirement as defined in the.

Award Procedures

Grants will be awarded as cooperative agreements. Proposals will be ranked according to criteria specified in the NOFA Section V. HUD will fund applications in rank order until all available program funds are awarded. Applications must receive a minimum of 75 points out of a possible 100 points to be considered for funding.
