Teacher Professional Development and Infrastructure Program (TPDI Program) in South Sudan

USAID/Sudan seeks to work with the MoE and SMoEs to comprehensively address the needs of the teacher professional development and support system for basic education.

The objectives of the TPDI Program are:1) To improve policy frameworks and management systems to professionalize teaching and to


ensure effectiveness and quality in the delivery of education services;2) To improve teacher performance;3) To increase access to curriculum-based teaching and learning materials; and4) To enhance access to teacher training.
