Water Hydrological Study for Tribal Lands

Notice of Intent to Award - Yavapai- Prescott Indian Tribe (YPIT) plans to create water resources master planning documents to identify and quantify potential sources of water, recharge potential, water well potential, re-claimed water potential, potential treatment, and storage of Tribal water.

objectives of the Water Hydrological Study for Tribal Lands include:
identifying, describing, and discussing physical and scientific elements of water resource data available to YPIT through the study of surface water runoff hydrology, a desktop analysis of groundwater hydrology/ hydrogeology, recharge, and development of reclaimed wastewater resource.

Specific tasks related to the study include:
Surface Runoff Water, Groundwater Hydrology/ Hydrogeology, Recharge, and Reclaimed Effluent.

The funding amount requested is for the completion of the Surface Runoff Water phase of this study, which will quantify rainfall runoff flows in various sub-basins of the watersheds affecting Tribal property for inclusion in an overall water resources master plan.
