Proof of Concept Commercialization Pilot Program Innovation Corps @ Department of Defense (I Corps @ DoD)

The Department of Defense (DoD) is soliciting applications from current/recent grant awardees to receive mentoring and funding to accelerate the transition and commercialization of the funded research.

The I Corps @ DoD program is designed to support the acceleration of innovation by providing

Principal Investigators (PIs) with training and mentorship in customer discovery and commercialization.

The purpose of funding under this Program Announcement (PA) is to accelerate the commercialization of basic research innovations from qualifying institutions.

The goals of this program are to spur the transition of fundamental research, to encourage collaboration between academia and industry, and to train students to understand innovation and entrepreneurship.
