Auburn City School District Bags $2.5 Million in State Grant Competition

New York State has provided Auburn City School District a $2.5 million competitive state grant for over the next three years to provide services to students and their parents outside the classroom.


Such services include dental care, meals and job search assistance. Auburn received the most out of the 30 schools that scored grants from the Community Schools Grant Initiative, a $15 million competition introduced by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
