Fitchburg Applies For a Grant

Agency - MassWorks Infrastructure Program

The city of Fitchburg is planning to apply for a grant worth $2 to $3 million under the MassWorks Infrastructure program.


The grant will help fund the revamping of Fitchburg's downtown area with new lighting, sidewalk and street reconstruction, improved signs and attractive, well-defined event spaces. It will fund the first phase of improvements, which focuses on Main Street from North to Putnam Streets.
