Flanders Farm Fresh Food Market wins state grant for its second season

The Flanders Farm Fresh Food Market has received a state grant in the amount of $10,000 from New York’s FreshConnect program. The grant will be used to open another season of the market that will provide fresh fruit and vegetables to the low income or underserved areas. As a result, the program can provide invaluable employment opportunities for area youth as well as possible future careers in agriculture.
