Hagerstown Receives $150,000 State Grant to Provide Low-Interest Loans to Businesses

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley announces that the city of Hagerstown will receive a $150,000 state grant through the Department of Business and Economic Development.


The grant is meant to provide businesses low-interest loans to redevelop abandoned buildings and areas within the city. The grant will be consumed into the Hagerstown Revolving Loan Fund. The city will also match the grants with $75,000 in funds.
