Imperial Beach Bags $40,000 Grant for Bike, Pedestrian Safety

Imperial Beach receives a $40,000 state grant from the Department of Transportation to promote safety among pedestrians and bicyclists.


The grant, which is part of the "Be Safe, Imperial Beach! A Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education Project and Awareness" campaign, is part of an $87 million grant through the state’s Business, Transportation and Housing Agency that advocates traffic safety.
