La Casa Family Health Center Acquires Government Grant
Agency - Health Resources and Services AdministrationThe U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration awards La Casa Family Health Center more than $144,000 state grant to recruit three more outreach workers at La Casa to enroll people in new affordable health coverage options.
The grant is a slice of the larger $2.2 million initiative to hire workers throughout New Mexico to assist locals in understanding their coverage options through the new Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
