NY Commission Awards $50,000 in State Funding to 10 RVCs
Agency - Commission on National and Community ServiceThe New York State Commission on National and Community Service has awarded $50,000 in state funding to 10 Regional Volunteer Centers (RVCs) statewide.
The funding aims to increase each center's capacity to engage volunteers to help prepare New York's communities for disasters of the type experienced with Hurricane Irene, Tropical Storm Lee and Superstorm Sandy.
