Rockford Police Department to Apply for $400,000 Grant to Build Parolee Tracking Database

The Rockford Police Department will be applying for a $400,000 grant to build a database to be used for tracking parolees and prevent crime.


Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority officials goaded the police department to submit in its grant application. The database would unify the city's information with data from the Department of Corrections, parole case managers and social service agencies.
