Southbury Lands $10,000 State Grant for Energy Saving

Agency - Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority

The Southbury town has recently obtained a $10,000 grant through its participation in the Clean Energy Communities program, which was run statewide.


With the program, towns and cities sign a pledge to lessen municipal building energy consumption by 20 percent by 2018, and to willingly procure 20 percent of their municipal electric needs from renewable sources by the aforementioned year.
