State Grant Amps Up Drunk-Driving Enforcement

The grant will fund for additional officers to identify and arrest all drunk drivers, and reduce the number of crashes and deaths. It will also boost the capacity of Hingham’s Designated Driver Program.

Programs that provide advice and training for police departments; collect and disburse money in aid of injured police officers and/or support local law enforcement activities.
