Uptown Bay City to Glean $1.9 Million State Grant

Uptown Bay City, a brownfield site, will receive a total of $1,921,638 state transportation economic development grant to fund its development projects.


The grant will enable a major tenant, Dow Corning, to have improved access to the site by having the company occupy an office building near the embankment that will house 400-500 employees. The site is being redeveloped to attract a number of commercial facilities, retail shops and residences.
