Vinton Receives State Grant to Spruce Up

A state grant of $700,000 was awarded to downtown Vinton, Virginia. The grant will be used to improve the area.


Vinton Mayor Bradley Grose says that they are going to revitalize the four block downtown area by improving the building facades, streetscapes, and lots of landscaping. Crosswalks and pedestrians are going to be placed to get in to downtown.
