provides special medical care, logistics support, and environmental monitoring programs for selected Atolls in the Republic of the Marshall Islands through a Cooperative Agreement issued by the U. S. Department of Energy.

The program operates in close cooperation, and in a culturally sensitive manner, with the government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, local atoll governments and people.
