Treatments for Oiled Historic Properties

NCPTT is working closely with the DOI Inland Oil Spill Preparedness Project (IOSPP) and wish to undertake research with NSU to investigate commercially available surface washing agents to remove oil from historic structures after an oil spill.

This task agreement focuses on the following objectives:
â¿¢

Develop mitigation strategies for treatment of oiled historic structures after an oil spill.

â¿¢ Further the understanding of the efficacy of commercially available surface washing agents listed on the National Contingency Plan product list.
